Is this the time to say, it won't make any difference?
Kazaa is dead, and has been dead for a long time. They've already been replaced by other networks, networks that are smart enough not to make the same mistake and break the law by blatantly encouraging infringement.

The really interesting developments as of late on this front are as follows:

The RIAA had to drop the first lawsuit that anyone actually fought against, as they clearly could not provide the evidence necessary to win such a lawsuit. Even better, the RIAA is going to be responsible for all lawyer fees in the case:

And the MPAA is next. They've decided to sue someone with deep enough pockets to take a case to court instead of just settling:

So this means an end to RIAA/MPAA lawsuit tactics as we now know them.
