They could go after the clown that uploaded the copyrighted video
If they really wanted to stop the video from appearing on the sites they could just go after the clown that uploaded the video. That is the person who clearly broke the law. If they go after just one person then everybody else will stop doing this because they will know that if they do they will get punished.
But these guys are not doing that because they are not really wanting to put a stop to the problem. They want to make money from a lawsuit against youtube or google or somebody else with millions of dollars to get.
