Big debate on this. I think they are pandering, not fixing things. It's like putting a bandaid on your toe while you're bleeding from a slashed artery. It may technically be "helping", but it won't save your life.

I guess you didn't read the part about it distracting from the fact that funding is being cut to *specifically* help social workers to deal with everyday cases of abuse. It's window dressing, and you fell for it. It makes you feel good that "something" is being done. Fine. Let's watch and see how much real abuse will be eliminated by the grandstanding. .00001 percent? Maybe even .00002?

Congress wastes their time and our money.
