- Somewhere someone is going to try and find a way to stop this
- Because somewhere someone is so deathly afraid that their rights are somehow being violated. I am sure the laws are going to need some tweaking and right now some of this does seem more like a band-aid solution than actual action but it is a start. Everyone worries about their rights, some more than others. But what about worrying about the rights of the children that are harmed because there aren't very good laws in place and things that could have been prevented if a law had been in place? What about the trial that is going on right now where a sex offened lived about 100 feet away from a little girl in Florida but because of laws at the time they didn't know it? He kidnapped her from her own bedroom and buried her alive after repeatedly (and he admitted it) assaulting her sexually? For days? What about the people that are starting up these sites with the purpose of entrapping children in some way and harming them? Should we do nothing about that? Because it violates rights? This bill sounds a whole lot better than the ones that they have been proposing recently with more definitions in it. Yes some is left up to interpretation BUT again it is a whole site better. Yes everyone has rights but these days everyone is more worried about the rights of the criminal than they are about the rights of the victim. Yes I know that some people lie. I'm not stupid. But how can a 4 month old baby lie? How can we not take this kind of problem seriously. We are so worried about what they are doing to us and panicing so much about what freedoms we think that they might be violating that we are willing to let criminals such as these roam freely and unmonitored? We are willing to let Websites such as that to exist undeterred? I know not everyone thinks like that but increasingly that is the only voice that I hear. If you guys don't like the way the laws and bills are written then why don't you try writing a bill or a law yourself or lobby for one? Don't tell me that it cannot be done because where there is a will there is a way.
