Life of copyrights

Although I am not an attorney, I do hold over 100 copyrights, and I can answer your question: a copyright is good for 75 years or for the life of the copyright owner. It can be renewed by the family of the original owner.
We can thank Ben Franklin for ensuring copyrights here in the USA, which he then spread to the world.
It is an unlawful copyright infraction to post and or make money from, be it through ads or viewing fees, ANY copyrighted materials.
YouTube makes these types of unlawful mistakes too often to get by with it, simply because there are people who do not care about copyright laws and only their own amusement.
Creating something that you must pay a Federal fee in order to copyright, should be protected and enforced by those laws and by every person in the world, for what if someone stole your weelky paycheck and told you, "Too bad, pal. I needed it more than you do." You wouldn't stand for that now, would you?
