Microsoft dislikes competition about the same as any corporation out there. I hardly say they would do anything to get rid of competition. Competition seems to do that for them. Also those who are too zealous in an attempt to kill off any competition usually run the business into the ground. I've seen this happen in small business. A business is better to look for ways to sell more products than look for ways to prevent the competition from selling products. You don't make money by fighting to stop the competition from making money. You just cause both businesses to suffer.
