Here's the thing though--no one is buying. This whole article is about the failure of download services. The MPAA companies see this, so their response is to start new companies selling for the same price under the same terms. For some reason, they've decided that the delivery mechanism is to blame, not the product. According to their reasoning, people aren't buying because they weren't using BitTorrent to download the movies yet, and it has nothing to do with inflated prices and inferior products.

If they want to succeed, they have to realize that they are offering an inferior product and adjust their prices accordingly. They can't even claim they're offering convenience when it takes half a day to download a movie you could get at the corner store in 5 minutes (and watch on your tv instead of your computer).

Sometimes their greed astounds me.
