I have to agree with you

I have to agree with you that the Republicans and their ultra-conservative base (which is 99% of the religious people in thsi country!) are the American Taliban.

Frankly, I am not worried about my daughter or son having sex with an adult, if they don't want to do it with the person, they know to tell me that the person is trying to force them to do something they don't want to do so I can talk to them.
And yes, I am a pedophile. Doesn't make me a child forcible rapists or child sexual murderer.
I would say that "I" care more about children than 99.9% of most people!

It's time to STOP with the fearmongering about pedophiles (who do want to doink your children, but not FORCE them into doing it 99 times out of 100!) and foreign terrorists (who have only attacked this country successfully ONCE in 50 years!).

MySpace is doing fine on it's own, why don't the parents just tell their children "Tell me what you are doing and where you are going, and I will not judge what you are doing as long as you are not hurting others!"
That's what I do with my children, and it's worked over the past 15 years.
