I find it annoying
I don't know about the legality of this case but I do know that nothing annoys me more than clicking on a search engine result that takes you to another search engine and then their results just take you to another search engine and when you finally do find a link that isn't for another search it turns out to be a page of ads and you still havn't found what you were looking for. It's hard enough to find quality information online without being bounced from site to site just to make someone else a few pennies while costing me valuable time.
