single use cc numbers
Don't know why anyone would use these services. When I buy online, I always, always use a single use credit card number. For Visa it's called shopsafe. You set a dollar limit and only the single merchant can use the number. So it takes a few minutes to setup and place the order, much better than getting your real cc number stolen. Although perhaps with these services you could set up your account with the single use number and fund it only when needed.
