Criminal actions?
So you're saying that taping a show and watching it later is a criminal action? That skipping the commercials in a show is against the law? That's all the broadcast flag will stop.

---Just like carrying your gun or speeding down the insterstate. Cultural heritage allowed these at one time too---

How does the record of artistic expression in a society "allow" speeding or carrying a gun? How does preserving the public domain, archiving artistic accomplishments "allow" these things? How does access to the creations of our society result in fast cars and guns? Do you have the slightest clue?
