You seem very confused
Sorry, but there is no inherent right to make a profit. Just because you invest millions of dollars in something, that does not mean you are entitled to anything.

The public owns the airwaves. If the broadcasters want to avail themselves of the privelege of using them (in hopes of profiting), they have to bend to the will of the owners. Just as you see MS owning Windows and how it's so wrong for some other greedy companies (via the EU) to tell them what to do, the same thing applies here. You want to use our airwaves, then you have to do it our way. Find a way to profit or don't use our airwaves. The public's right to fair use, and preservation of our cultural heritage far outweigh the ability of some studio to make a few bucks.
