France rolls over on iTunes DRM-busting law

The other online services: are open to the Windows platform, Microsoft doesn't run each company. Those services could have ponied up to Apple and used the iPod for the formats it uses, but directly compete as services with iTunes. MS doesn't have a branded device, like an mPod or such, though they do have partnerships for music services, but really, MS just has media management software (Windows Media Player), a jukebox.
