Apple sells songs to promote iPods. Songs aren't a profit maker for
Apple, iPods are. If Apple didn't make a better player, they wouldn't
be a demand for them and iPod has become synonymous for digital
media players. Apple's iPod can't work with windows media player,
as the demands of Microsoft's license prohibit using Fair play
(competing format). If you're set on using windows only software,
then by all means, use it. Don't demand that I and everyone else
use it. There are many players that only use windows media player,
buy one of those and leave the people that think alone.
