All your eggs in one basket?
Anyone remember the old Star Trek episode, The Lights of Zetar? They had a thing called Memory Alpha, a repository of all federation knowledge. Well, bam, it got blown away in an ion storm or something. I suspect the same will happen here. All you need is a little inconvenience like a hurricane, earthquake or the like, and what will there be of this archive then? Mr. Kahle's idea is ambitious and intriguing; I sure hope he doesn't do it.
