Plugging the analog loophole
"Rip-and-Burn via audio.
AFAIK, this loophole is unpluggable."

The people who want all this DRM are also working on getting
new laws written to make it illegal to have an audio loophole.
They want the data to stay digital from storage to output. There
are speakers that can handle digital input and put out sound.
You would have to take the sound from the speakers and input it
to be digitized, and that would probably be written in the law as
illegal also.

This is the kind of thing that makes it advisable to keep around
your old computers with software that can do these things so
when the laws are written for those with the money we can still
have some control over data.
