Then I must be stuck in a parallel universe where the majority of people aren't overseas and 80 miles from a movie theater.

You bought the DVD. Congratulations, you're a good person. Are you telling me that of the 25,000+ people who are currently downloading X3, you can speak for at least 75% of them and tell me that they're all going to buy the DVD when it comes out, but for now this is the best they can do because they're hours away from a proper theater?

I don't think that's the case, Artstar. I really don't think that's the case.
