Very True
I quite agree; no one wants responsibility. Yet everyone wants rights.
I want violent, sexually saturated entertainment, simply because I can tell the difference between reality and fiction. I have experienced as much real violence as I want and half as much sex as I want, in entertainment such as films and videogames there is an element of control that a god could envy.
And yet somehow my desires are oddly at ends with someone's idealised version of what 21st century childhood should be. That should not be the case. Parents ought to be parents.
And those parents that cannot be parents, those abusive monsters among us, are doing things to their children that a videogame can't possibly make worse. There are better ways to politick than this.
