I work and the wife stays at home. It's cheaper. We figured out that after the taxes and child care that my wife would be 32 hours of the 40 hour week to cover those costs. Hardly makes it worth it $100 a week. So we sacraficed that $400 a month and my Wife takes care of our child.

Funny thing is that most people probably haven't sat down to look at what they are doing and how in-efficient it is. That's 128 hours a month of work for nothing but people just look at that $400 as another car payment. The reality is that the car payment is now really $2000 a month ($1600 to taxes and childcare plus $400.) People just don't think of this way.
