Generations

Here's the problem. You have a generation gap effect occurring here. You have a generation of 50+ people who don't get it. They come from a generation when only kids played video game. Well those kids grew up and now have thier own kids. This new generation of 25+ parent still play video games. We own consoles that we play, our kids fight us to play thier games same as I fought with my parents to watch my shows on TV. I'm not ignorant about video games, there are game that aren't for kids like thiere is movies, music, books, magazines, and such that aren't for kids. So I think the generation of parent who just bought the game and tossed it to thier kid are disappearing while the next generation is the type to play the game with their kids or play themselve. I know we are both my wife and I play video games. No way my kids would be playing a game I know nothing about and I sure ain't letting them play the violent games till thier are quite a bit older. Also they don't seem to have interest in those games. They like the Crash Bandicoot and Sonic type games.

Also this makes me wonder. Video games have been violent for over a decade and no one complained. The second sexuality shows up in a game people go on crusade. What's with that? Sex is worse than violence? I don't think so!
