In Walgreen?s I bought brand new DVD-movies $1 each (hard copies).
Compare a $1 DVD-movie with:
$1 per DOWNLOADED song = total rip off (Apple is always Apple).
$1.87 per DOWNLOADED album is kind of expensive but acceptable for many, except Apple (so, if cheap online music is prohibited - look for Apple ...).
Thus, the reason for high prices ? monopolization of the market.
Your pocket is a good tool to change the industry in favor of consumers.
