If legal bodies really want to protect their client data, they need to use a format that carries no metadata whatsoever. Do that by using software like Taceo, that provides usage controls to documents to prevent copy/paste, etc. http://www.essentialsecurity.com/legal.htm

But guess what peole, you should use the same software so your telecommunication provider can't access you emails in the first place, keeping your private communications private.
