Google unveils new applications

So Far, I'm Not Impressed: The gadgets either don't work on my machine or are ho-hum. The one thing I was interested in was the weather globe, which seemed like a cool idea. Well, I tried to install it, but on one system it won't install because Google says some GDI component was missing (despite the fact that I installed the software Google redirected me to), and on the other system, it just plain doesn't show up. I don't get any errors. It just doesn't show up.
