people are stupid
I'm getting quite sick of people bashing Myspace/Livejournal/Friendster. The fact of the matter is that before all of these things kids were still giving out personal details over irc, msn, icq, hell even webchat. You can't fix the problem of people being stupid and giving out too much information on the internet by restricting access to MySpace. I've even heard MySpace called 'evil'. While it's fashionxcore pose-a-thon antics don't really appeal to me, it's just another social networking site. You meet people, you talk to them. You can do the same thing in any number of ways on the internet and trying to restrict access to them won't really fix anything, and to insist that the site itself is somehow malicious and wrong is just moronic.
