Missed the point
The point is not whether corporations would do such a thing, it's the wording that is has been or is being done. Up until now, all of the arguments for 'net neutrality' have at least been couched in the usual FUD terms of "could" and "might".

"Corporations have too much control over our daily lives. I for one would like some of that control back."

The federal government has far more control over our daily lives than any corporation does.
