The vote audits found no such thing:

The certified recount found that "W" won the election in Florida. These official and certified recounts have officials from both parties present - this was not subject to "fixing" by the Republican party. The factors in these recounts were not whether they were done honestly by the workers, but issues such as an inability to determine the vote on a ballot if not adequately marked or punched by the voter/machine, and the ability to do multiple recounts in the time-frame needed before the electoral college meeting. There was no fraud here - only political and legal wrangling over what to do with insufficiently marked ballots. And Bush still won despite the recounts after the decisions on how to count ballots with "chads".

Bush also lost military votes for him that weren't counted at all because they were absentee ballots coming from overseas and didn't make it in time due to slow international mail.

If you're looking for actual fraud, there was substantiated and documented vote fraud on college campuses done by students voting Democratic, who voted at more than one polling place. We had students at Marquette University here in Milwaukee who actually admitted *on t.v. cameras* to doing this!

There was also an incident here where Republican party vans which were used to bring elderly or disabled people to polling places (for a "Get out the Vote" campaign) had their tires slashed. Two young men were arrested for that - one was the son of a Democratic party politician.

So don't try to tell us the election was stolen from Al Gore. The facts don't bear it out.
