So, how safe is your company data?
Nowdays alot of IT professionals use their notebook or laptop computer at work and at home. Having the ISP able to snoop on your secure VPN connections, and required by law to decrypt these connections (for all they know, you could be swappin child porn), while you are performing a security audit or network analysis such as a traceroute to detect a faulty or improperly functioning server. You would need to put alot of trust in your ISP, especially if you are working for a competing ISP. A dishonest employee could just steal your trade secrets or even internal IP addresses and, before you know it, compromise your systems.
