Why Upggrade?
I too, was using Win ME with no problems. I guess we are the only 2 people in the world with mother-boards that like Win ME... LOL.

I bought a new 80G. HDD and found out that Win 98, the base of Win ME, wouldn't read the new drive.

So, my IT buddy loaded XP for me. It took me weeks to understand the permissions and what I could and couldn't do with XP. And yes, even this supposedly 'new' OS. crashes too.

BTW, I opened up the XP firewall so my personal edition of Sygate could handle incoming traffic. A lot of good M$.'s new security feature did for me, eh? I also use Firefox, but in the Windows Classic skin 'cause I like the look. I'm a little older now and find the font easier to read with the 'Classic' background colors.

My advise to you, InsaneWayne, is don't buy a HDD bigger than 40G. or be prepared to use the 'new and improved' M$. edition of Win 3.1 ... LOL.

Just my opinion...
