Don't just blame the US
Yes they are responsible for this in a pretty big way but we should also point the finger at the consumer who buys this thing. If everybody continues to blindly follow microsoft whatever it does then this is going to happen. Microsoft have made a lot of good products but they have also done a lot of bad stuff as well. DO businesses really need to use hotmail for their staff email? why don't they use the host that they have for their website to provide an email service. It's not that hard to set up and probably works a little cheaper.
