Ballmers say we are giving you Windows name, dont screw up?!!
The fact they gave Hotmail and Windows Live mail the name that the whole world associates with a monopoly, and an insecure OS would give me a great reason to tell Steve Ballmer that Hotmail ought to keep its name and drop the names of Windows and Microsoft right off the product.

There is nothing about Windows that evokes a standard of trust and reliability, and the sooner Microsoft "gets it" and relaxes its desire to paste its long useless name on every product, that will be the sooner it gets used by those who dont want to have to say: "Did you MSN Search it", or "Microsoft Hotmail it to me", or "Use Windows Live Mail to send it to me". Does that roll off your tongue like Gmail, or Yahoo or some name that isnt so corporate and stody, and lame. Nope, they just dont get it.

These guys love themselves so much they probably use Microsoft Right Guard deodorant, and cant understand why they all stink so bad...its the name, and the technology, they both stink. Loosen up, dump the Microsoft and Windows moniker and get flexible with the name. There is no sense of adventure, creativity, or fun at Microsoft, it products suck, just like the weather in seattle.
