Hi Candace,

Perhaps it is just me, but this story seems to be incomplete...

While another DVR program is welcome, and the price is certainly right, I can't help but wonder what Yahoo's market model is? If they are giving it away for free, how are they going to make money off of this application?

Will it be advertisement supported? Will Yahoo monitor your viewing habits and sell this data to the TV networks? Will it be a loss leader, like video game consoles, where the money will come from services one can subscribe to? If so, what are they and how much do they cost per year?

Can you enlighten me...? Thanks!
