Neutral mind and Neutral Net both good ideas
Can't help but recall the brain study that showed that when it comes to politics the frontal brain, an all that intelligence this group has, shuts off. Hmm, opinion becomes independent of intelligence or facts or dialogue.

So we, including me, must step back and take a breath IF we want a considered response.

Mine best shot is: 1. yes all politics is local and based these days on money 2. biggest shift would be to fund folks publicly and not allow huge contributions by groups 3. get a grip and see that for all our creativity USA is behind many countries now in Broadband integation and use- ie we don ot have our eye on the ball

Who is at fault? We are for not being active enough in tracking, promoting and exposing political moves that affect us all for years and years. And hundred of small decsions made at many levels not guided with any long term vission based on facts adn feedback -- only ideological beliefs that seem insulated from input except from select folks that agree to the agenda.

Let's keep active and keep the Net as open as possible to allow creativity adn dialogue from all types of people.

By the by, this huge internet was the result of NON-market forces and long term investment. Nonmarket influences energize market forces- a basic polarity rarely discussed.
