As if Democrats are any better...
Democrats are no better when it comes to "nothing or screwing us" as you say. I suggest you go to some far left blog to vent against politicians. As far as I'm concerned, I would rather them idiots in Washington just leave me alone and stop stealing money out of my pocket just so they can give telephone, internet, etc to someone who can't even afford a computer. My observation is that it doesn't matter whether it's a Republican or a Democrat, they both behave the same. What scares me about the Democrats is that they lie constantly about their position (They love to raise taxes i.e. Clinton raised them in 1993 - but they will not tell you they are for raising taxes). Personally, I think that innovation is the best thing for the Internet, and having a ton of interference from a bunch of power hungry Senators is not going to inspire a whole lot of innovation.
