Compatibility
I've played with Firefox and Opera, spending considerable time with Firefox trying to get it to render a page properly (by that I mean like IE - remember the one everyone uses) - had some problems with Iframes the last time I tried but probably fixed now.

For the last 2-3 years I've used Maxthon, all the tab management, skins, etc etc but built on the IE core.

As a commercial developers, whose products have to be used by the vast bulk of humanity, I'll always choose IE compatibility over anything else. As for security, everything has bugs and everything will fall down sometime.
