otherwise it would be unconstitutional to put up video cameras everywhere, cause by your reasoning it's assuming everyone who passes in front of the camera is guilty. That's not so. This is just data collection, and if you aren't a child pornographer or terrorist, there isn't that much here to worry about. If you are, there is.
That said, we are moving toward a big-brother type society, but that can't be helped, for a lot of reasons. (and it will happen, too, for a lot of reasons).
