I agree that it needs to be more integrated. I think they're working on it quickly. This morning when I looked at it, it looked like you couldn't get to your Gmail from your calendar. Now it looks like there is a link to Gmail there. Too bad there isn't a link back. I'm sure that they're going to eventually set up a two-paned system where one click on the left takes you to your Gmail, where the other takes you to your calendar. That's what would make sense. (Outlook did get that right.)
