Why you don't see benefits from the tax cuts?
Are you a billionaire? Well, at least you must be a millionaire.
Otherwise, why would you expect tax cut relief? Do you not
remember Bush saying to a group of billionaires "You are my
constiuency!"

This article smells of PR nonsense from the Taxpayer Union
quoted in the article. It's their kind of thinking that has lead to
our $9 Trillion deficit that continues to rise. All this nonsense
about being able to cut taxes and prosecute a war at the same
time (get rid of the body armor and supplied need to fight
properly the bean counters said).

l wonder if you surveyed the states they say are democratic
controlled, I wonder what numbers actually show. How big is
that domination? Was is that way when the policies were set that
influence the financial situation of that state now? Do all the
states of sales taxes (three in the US don't have any at all)?

There are way too many questions left open here and I think
they sound like PR coming from Carl Rove and the Republican
National Committee in preparation for painting Democrats as tax
and spend adovocates. And yet our economy is worse than ever
since Bush took office.

Way too many questions to draw any conclusions from this
political op piece - in a tech publication.

ZDNet shows their colors...
