they poison their own waters
when i first got on the internet back in 95, before windows 95 comeout of course. it was ncsa mosaic that was enjoyable and netscape was still in beta.
ok back to the point, the point is, that when conducting internet serches, i was always amazed at the quality and type of information that was easily avalible. man you didnt even have to try to get to the good stuff. those days it seemed like everybody was fascinated by what the internet had to offer, as such, people "websites" were willing to divulge infomation about things, knowledge, practices, experiances, in all walks of life and fields of study. I always thought the professionals and intelectuals were hiding things from us lay men. but now were giving it all away in this new media -the internet.
well by todays standerd nobody would beleve me if i told them the internet was a garden waiting to be picked. of course back then nobody knew what http or www even means anything. -- oh well, lol
however today, after wadding through all the advertizemnets. if your lucky to comeup with a site that may be insitefull or informative. It seems that all information today has become sterilized to the point that all websites in a given search may contain if not the same data extracts witch is all watered down of course.
nobody wants to give information away anymore. everybody wants money for knowledge, but nobody will pay them for it. - so they resort to advertizemnts to make profits.
its so hard to find free quality material nowdays without havng to "subscribe" to get better and more complete information or resurces.
in the end.......
the only thing i do on the internet now days in play online interactive games. i odnt even try to educate my self anymore
