hakkers you say?
correct me if i'm wrong but this idea about an alternate email address .. wouldn't it lead to even more problems?

i mean .. if you are allowed to do it tehn i'm assuming teh logical thing to do would be allow you to change it whenever you like, i for example regularly change my email address approx. every two months, and on ocations when i will be getting unwanted krap as a part of a deal .. i can do this because i own several domain names so .. back to teh point.. as i was saying, if you (teh user) are able to change it.. then what's stoppign teh hakker from changing that address to their own .. i hakked one of my friends account on ogame.org and simply changed the confirmatino email address to mine, visit teh login page and requested a password reminder.. simple as that i had his password to, hotmail, amazon.com/.co.uk , school's account .. so you see, my point is.. if your akkount has been hakked, it is your fault .. not google's ..
