Are you smokin that stuff again? Fed Gov to be
the 'trustee'??? With the bunch of corrupt people
in both paries who are at or near the top
political slots? Or are you one on those
pollyannas who spout the "These are honorable
men" line as we see them sell our privacy,
wildlands, broadcast spectrum rights,
constitutional rights, etc., etc. etc. to the
highest bidder? Fed Gov isn't to be trusted with
a burnt out match, let alone the genome database.
I'm not saying that Google is any better, I dont
know them except thru their search engine. I do
have over 60 years experience with US govt., and
the few times I have seen it do good were
accidental by-products of one of it's 'rip off
the taxpayer' deals.

I'm not sure of the source of the quote, but
whoever he was, he had it right.

"Tax laws are not passed for the benefit of the
taxpayer"

Im not sure that anyone is honest enough to be
trusted with this kind of value. Maybe it needs
to be held by a number of sources, all monitored
closely by still other groups.
