Dead on on both accounts
And an "R" rating doesn't apply to everything. For example, wrestling on TV, even though not real, still is seemingly violent. Yet many parents that watch that dribble also include their children in their TV time.

I don't much care for much of that crap. I enjoy a movie for both sex and violence because I know that the movie is just a story.
