Interesting
The notion I get from reading the previous comments is that most people seem to feel that they should be able to have unfettered access to as much depraved content as they can get their hands on; no matter what the cost.
Accusations that Senators are only trying to get re-elected, the 'freakish Christian extremists' are only trying to push their 'warped' sense of morals. This would be amusing if not so sad; trying to make everyone else out to be crazy or confused or 'old fashioned', because they don't accept the 'enlightened' ideals of this 'modern' society. It is interesting, these ideals aren't nearly as modern as you might think:
"But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom?both young and old?surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.""

You see, the problem with this 'enlightened' and 'modern' way of thinking is that as people 'experiment' and break free from the 'bondage' of morality, we forget what sex was truely designed for. Love becomes a word that means simply 'horny' - translation: selfish
Rather than it's true meaning - I care about what's best for you regardless of how it affects me.

By the way, you can read more about the above story here: Genesis 18 and 19
Great book! Lots of excitement and intrigue! I highly recommend it!!
