What about other areas that I don't like?
Ok, so they want .xxx for obscene stuff. But, I think there are plenty of other areas that should be "domained" accordingly. For example, republican and democrate rhetoric. We should have a .elephant and .donkey so we can filter out that info. Also, I'm not big on women's issues, so I'd want to filter out .fem. Then, of course, gay and lesbian info would be .gay. And let's not forget about the need for .fun, in case you really want to limit your kids. Others could be .sports, .music, .tv, .movie or .podcast. And what if we are doing a podcast about the music on a movie that contains naked women? Well, of course that would be .podcast.music.movie.xxx. Did you even have to ask?

So, here is the question. What do we consider a sport or a movie? Is a movie about sports a movie? What about a documentary? What about a documentary about the porn industry (I know of two that exist already).. is that .movie or .xxx? And who would decide what is .xxx or .movie?

When will the ultra conservatives and ultra liberals finally realize that most of us don't want them to categorize or filter out anything? I mean, chances are most of the guys reading this looked at porn in some form when they were teenagers (some are still teenagers and some still look at porn, you know who you are). Why are they so normal if porn is so wicked? And why do breasts suddenly become good to look at once you're married? Ok, there you go, thank you for listening.
