- lottery scam at 99 Greenwich High Road SE10 London SE 10 8NB
-
My name is Norma Holmes Martin. I live in the United States and am a United States citizen. I entered into a lottery with free tickets given to me at the closing on the refinancing of my house here in the US. I was notified via mail by occupants of the above address in the subject line that I had won the sum was 3.7 million dollars (N. Martin). I had to verify a secret answer to a question to prove that it was me responding to the prize notification letter. I created that answer myself when I entered the lottery. I was told that if I could not come to pick up the cash myself that I would have to pay a policy insurance certificate for $1550.00 US for my funds to be put securely in the form of a cashier's check. Since sending off this sum via money gram to a man by the name of Michael Anderson who would purchase the policy insurance certificate, I received a fax stating that I have a stamp duty on my cashier check for $2650.00 US. There is a man by the name of Steve Douglas that boasts that he has been in the business as an OSA agent for 17 years and the business there is legitimate and they do it for the government. Why is it that no one else in London that I have contacted so far know that they exist? There is a Chris Duncan which I have verified does have some ties with the state of Colorado here in the US, who lies so much that what ever credibility I did have concerning the whole thing has been lost. Here in the US I have been in contact with the IRS, our internal revenue service, concerning the winnings. I was instructed what to do and am awaiting payment. Due to the lack of credibility on my part of this whole operation I was not going to send any more money to them but Chris Duncan assured me that if I sent the $400 US to him on Feb. 24, 2006 that he would send me my winnings. All of this seems so much to me like an extortion ring. Mr. Tony Blair, my daughter is a United States Marine, my son in law is a United States Marine and right now we are at war with an enemy supposedly fighting side by side for life liberty and our homeland security. Why is it that there are people such as this that are allowed to fester in your country and no one is doing anything about them? If they are legitimate, why are they extorting money out of me? If they are indeed garbage than why are they allowed to continue to perpetuate their venom? All in all I am out of $2072.00 US, this including transmitting fees. I want my money back but equally important, I would like to know if I ever did win and have they just been trying to frustrate me to a point so that I would want to give up and get my money back and leave them with my winnings in an account under Michael Anderson's name gaining interest? And if so, I am sure I would not be the first that they have scammed like this but this is a way of catching up with them and through Michael Anderson. The Moneygram Corporation has assured me that my money's were sent to the above mentioned address and someone with the identification of Michael Anderson received my funds, $1550 US and $400.00 US payment.
I am a cooperative with the FBI here in the US and I was just doing this in my personal life. Little did I know that even if you do enter a lottery there is always someone around the corner trying to either capitalize on you or scam you. Sir, I would like to know what is happening there at 99 Greenwich High Road SE10 London SE 10 8NB. Where is my money? I can be reached at 804-687-0827 in the US anytime keeping in mind that your time is 5 hours ahead of mine, or via email at normamartin@nahm.tv. I check my email during the week only. Please help me. I just finished getting off the phone with Steve Douglas and he is still maintaining that this lottery is legitimate and their business also it and I have won this sum. That I still have to pay the balance of the $2650 in order for the check to be sent to me.
