This is not protected under the U.S. Constitution!
The U.S. Constition relates to rights granted by the governmnet to people (right to free speach, though you are not allowed to shout fire in a crowded theater, etc.). Google, MSN, Yahoo and/or any other commercial entity is not covered under this as per your rights, they are all commercial for profit ventures. Why do you think that data that you make public via one of these services is covered as private information? Neither case is private or protected under the Constition or any other privacy law. You have no right to privacy of any published data on the Internet, it is released as is for anyone to search, read and use (Copyright lasw, etc. may apply here).

As per domestic spying, that has been going on for years but you chose to release piles of information and the Freedom Of Information Act says that I can get it! Under similar legislation, the government (and most people, corporatino, etc.) can get information on you (and without your consent).

Get over it!
-Scott McNeally, regarding privacy on the Internet

Besides, no one cared that Americans trashed the Constitution for security after 9/11. No ruse, people got scared because we had another case of terrorism on US soil (this makes people freak out).

In reality, children are used to restrict the rights of adults all the time. Ever heard of the George Carlin thing (7 Dirty Words)?
