Mozilla revenue speculation erupts
On Monday, Jason Calacanis, chief executive of blogging network Weblogs, wrote in his blog that an unnamed source at BarCampLA told him that the Mozilla Corp. made $72 million last year and is on target to have 120 employees this year,

And that is exactly why blogs shouldn't be trusted as a source of news. I have a source that told me little aliens will come down and turn the entire U.S. into rednecks. And judging from the area I live in, I think the process has already started. Seriously, take any article that uses "reliable source" or "source close to the company" with a grain of salt, yes even here on zdnet.

Now for Mozilla Corp., good for them for making some money. They say $72mill is not correct but not far off. So I'd put them about $50mill. Best of all, they don't have to disclose their numbers since they are private. Going to boost total employees to 120, anyone know how many employees they actually have?
