I think that by then it won't be DSL at all. It will be wireless networks using advanced forms of WiMAX.

Funny thing is this happened in Canada almost 10 years ago. I remember my Dial-up going up to $34.99 per month for 100 hours in 1998 while ADSL was going for $39.99. So it actually turned out cheaper to go for ADSL after factoring in the service that you needed such as an additional phone line or serive bundle for Dial-up caller ID and voicemail.
