Awful HTML
Hi, thunderdome1.

I should have been more clear. HTML editors don't prevent people from writing awful HTML, per se, but they prevent people from writing HTML that creates unworkable pages (at least in IE). The underlying HTML might be inelegant and badly-formed, but at least the page will load the way the author wants it to (if we're talking about WYSIWYG editors). That's as opposed to what happens if someone who doesn't know what they're doing writes their own HTML.
