As much as I have distrust of Microsoft, I would have responded the same if they had been the inovator of this product instead of Google.
The points were that the feature is very useful for some people, not everyone deals with sensitive information or is a regulated industry, and that the feature was an optional one that was *off* by default.
So I'm not giving Google any extra slack, I'm just saying that the feature is very legitimate and useful for some users, and that since it was off by default nobody was being "invaded" by an evil spyware program by installing the desktop tool. - Posted by: sylerner Posted on: 02/19/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
