What I'd like to see is....
Individuals opting in to get emails from certain senders, not senders opting to send anything they want because they're "trusted." This way I get "certified" email from only those I want to receive it from.

Unsolicited commercial email is spam, regardless of whether someone says it's not. I bought a gap.com gift card three years ago as a holiday gift, and I am *still* getting emails from them. sad
